Rapido driver working tirelessly to fund his sister’s wedding died in a tragic road accident at the Dispur Super Market flyover in Guwahati.
In a heartbreaking incident, a Rapido driver working tirelessly to fund his sister’s wedding died in a tragic road accident at the Dispur Super Market flyover in Guwahati on December 22 late evening. A young advocate, who was the passenger in the Rapido, also died in the accident.
The driver, identified as Ranjit Rajvanshi from Nalbari, died along with the advocate Priya Sunar when the bike was hit from behind by a four-wheeler.
Priya Sunar, a resident of Lumding, was traveling to Sixth Mile on the Rapido when the accident occurred. Both she and Ranjit succumbed to their injuries.
What is more tragic is that Ranjit’s elder brother passed the spot where the accident happened, not knowing that one of the victims was his own sibling. He later learned about the tragic loss of his brother.
