Young Man Hit by Train in Tinsukia, Body Severed in Two Parts

The deceased, estimated to be around 25 years old, was wearing a white T-shirt and grey pants. His identity has not yet been established.

In a tragic incident late last night, a young man’s body was found severed into two parts on the railway tracks in Kaptanchuk, Hijugudi area of Tinsukia district, Assam.

Locals suspect that the young man was hit by the Rajdhani Express while he was crossing the railway line. However, authorities have not yet confirmed the exact details of the accident.

The deceased, estimated to be around 25 years old, was wearing a white T-shirt and grey pants. His identity has not yet been established.

Soon after the incident, a team of police and railway police arrived at the scene. They took custody of the body and sent it to Tinsukia Medical College for a post-mortem examination.

The gruesome discovery has left the local residents in shock. Police have launched an investigation.
