Widespread condemnation on HSLC paper leak case

As of now, three question papers — English, General Science, and Assamese paper have been leaked
Amid the higher secondary leaving certificate (HSLC) paper leak case, widespread protests have broken out in several parts of the state.
Angry protestors have taken to the streets in various places including Majuli, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar demanding justice for the students and stern action against all the culprits.
On the other hand, reactions from the general public are pouring in from all over the state. People have unequivocally lamented the fact that the future of lakhs of students has been jeopardized.
Meanwhile, students appearing for the HSLC examination have also expressed their disappointment with the education system. Students have come out in rage in some parts of the state demanding strict action against the mastermind behind the higher secondary leaving certificate (HSLC) paper leak and taking steps to control such situations in near future.
On the other hand, there has been widespread protest broken out in against arrested HSLC paper leak mastermind Pranab Dutta who was the center in-charge of Luhit Khabalu HS School, and his accomplice Kumud Rajkhowa who is still absconding.
Protestors have taken to the streets in Majuli demanding exemplary punishment for the duo.
It is to be mentioned that the HLSC examination is being conducted in 912 centers across the state. Around 4,22,174 students are appearing for the HSLC board exams (Class X) 2023.
Board of Secondary Education, Assam has cancelled the class 10 General Science exam amid reports of question paper leaking. The HSLC Exam for English subject was also cancelled in JR Higher Secondary School, Ganirgram of Cachar district on March 3. On March 16, all the MIL subjects including English (IL) paper have been cancelled after Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma advised Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) to reschedule the exam for Assamese exam.
As of now, three question papers — English, General Science, and Assamese paper have been leaked.
