Taba Chake of Arunachal Pradesh is making headlines. Taba made his mark in the Bollywood film industry with his debut song “Aye mere dil” featured in the movie “Kadak Singh.” The 30-year-old Taba Chake is currently based in Mumbai.
The film, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, stars renowned actors Pankaj Tripathi, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Sanjana Sanghi, along with Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan in her Bollywood debut.
The film got released on the Zee 5 OTT platform on December 8.
Expressing his excitement on Facebook, Taba Chake, a singer-songwriter, shared his admiration for Pankaj Tripathi’s work and announced the inclusion of his voice in the film.
“Always been a fan of Pankaj Tripathi’s work. Finally, my voice will be in this film.🫶🏼”, wrote Taba Chake.
Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu took to X to applaud Taba Chake’s achievement and complimented Taba saying “he is a maestro of fresh & unique vocal magic”.

Taba’s another claim to fame is that Mihir Ahuja who has acted in recently released Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies movie has performed in one of his songs titled Udd Chala.
Taba Chake is celebrated for his ability to write and compose songs in English, Hindi, Nyishi, and Assamese, instilling hope, positivity, and wanderlust in his listeners. His debut album, “Bombay Dreams,” has garnered over 25 million streams on Spotify and over 30 million across all platforms. An active live musician, Taba Chake has become one of the most sought-after live music acts, particularly during the festive season of 2022-23.
