Veteran Assamese actor Jayanta Das dies at 54

He was undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments and was on life support at the hospital since last few days
Veteran Assamese actor Jayanta Das, known for his roles in numerous films and TV series spanning several decades has passed away. He was 54. The actor known for his hit Assamese comedy serial ‘Bharaghar’ breathed his last at a private hospital in Guwahati on Saturday evening. He was undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments and was on life support at the hospital since last few days.
