She asserted that a significant portion of the violence was designed to instill fear and enforce silence.
In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through a New Jersey community, the daughter of a long-serving police chief has publicly accused her father and others of horrific, ritualistic abuse spanning over a decade. Courtney Tamagny, 20, has filed a lawsuit detailing claims of sexual abuse, torture, and participation in an alleged satanic cult, reports NDTV.
Allegations of Ritualistic Abuse and a Secretive Cult
Courtney Tamagny alleges that from the age of four in 2009 until she was 15 in 2020, she was subjected to systematic abuse by her father, Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny, his neighbor Kevin Slevin, and other individuals.
Speaking on the “We’re All Insane” podcast in April as per reports by NDTV, Tamagny claimed that generations of her father’s “bloodline” were involved in a satanic cult operating within their North Jersey town, with many neighbors allegedly participating.
As per reports by NDTV, the lawsuit and podcast testimony describe horrifying acts, including ritualistic rape of Ms. Tamagny and her siblings, child trafficking, and even human and animal burnings in local woods.
Tamagny recounted “tunnels” used by cult members to conduct secret rituals, which she claimed involved all-night “burnings,” “drum circles,” and “taking kids’ blood.” She asserted that a significant portion of the violence was designed to instill fear and enforce silence.
Drugging, Threats, and a Mother’s Alleged Unawareness
According to the lawsuit reported by NDTV, the abuse occurred in both her home and the nearby woods. Tamagny claims she was drugged, raped, threatened, and trafficked during these “satanic rituals” performed by masked cult members. Her father allegedly threatened to kill her mother if Courtney ever spoke out. The lawsuit further states that Tamagny’s sisters were also allegedly abused by their father, who reportedly used drugs to incapacitate them while their mother was either absent or wearing earplugs.
Tamagny stated that the traumatic events remained suppressed until 2022, when treatment for genital pain triggered a flood of memories. Subsequently, her therapist filed an official abuse complaint.
Since bringing these allegations to light, Courtney Tamagny and her mother, Jeanne Tamagny, have actively sought public attention through podcasts, social media, and a Change.org petition advocating for the dismissal of Chief Scott Tamagny.
Both Chief Tamagny and Kevin Slevin have denied the allegations, asserting that the claims have been thoroughly investigated, even at the federal level. The New York Post reported that Slevin has filed a slander countersuit against Tamagny.
This ongoing legal and public battle highlights the complex and often hidden nature of alleged ritualistic abuse, leaving many questions about the truth behind these grave accusations.
