Union Road Transport Ministry Sanctions Rs 398 Crore for Road Development Projects in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to X to thank the Union Minister for this significant development.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced on his official X handle the allocation of Rs. 398 crore for 19 State District Road Development projects in Arunachal Pradesh under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

“These initiatives aim to enhance last-mile connectivity in border regions, facilitating seamless access and fostering socio-economic growth across the state. The investment underscores our commitment to strengthening infrastructure in remote areas, driving regional development, and improving livelihoods in the North-East region,” Gadkari posted.

Expressing gratitude, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to X to thank the Union Minister for this significant development. He wrote, “Grateful to Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri @nitin_gadkari Ji, for allocating ₹398 crore under CRIF (State Roads) for 19 State District Road Development projects in Arunachal Pradesh for FY 2024-25. This transformative initiative will enhance last-mile connectivity in border regions, boost socio-economic growth, and uplift livelihoods in remote areas.”
