In a glimmer of hope for the two families of abducted Quippo employees, the ULFA (Independent) on Saturday released a fresh statement saying that they will release the two oil company employees soon.
A letter signed by the publicity secretary of the outfit claimed that there is no issues related to the release of the two men, and they will soon reach home.
The outfit had earlier announced an indefinite suspension of the release of the two till a news portal in the state apologizes for broadcasting ‘fake’ news regarding their release.
It is to be mentioned that the duo – Bihar-based employee, Ram Kumar and drilling superintendent Pranab Kumar Gogoi of Assam’s Sivasagar district was abducted by the banned outfit from a drilling location in Arunachal’s Changlang district on December last year.
