Tripura: Youth stabbed multiple times, dies

The victim was immediately rushed to the Bisalghar hospital from where he was referred to Tripura Medical College and then to GB Hospital in critical condition.

In a shocking incident, a young man was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen at Bishalgarh Kadimura area in Sepahijala district of Tripura leading to his death a few hours later.

According to eyewitness accounts, the youth identified Sarif Mia and his younger brother
had gone to enquire regarding some earlier incidents when the assailant, Faiz Khan took out a knife and
stabbed Sarif multiple times im his abdomen and shoulder, causing critical injuries.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Bisalghar hospital from where he was referred to Tripura Medical College and then to GB Hospital in critical condition.

However, the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

Meanwhile, the incident has left the community in shock and mourning, with residents expressing disbelief and concern over the escalating violence in the area.

The Police have apprehended the accused and an investigation is underway.
