Tripura: Woman killed by a speeding bike while crossing road, 2 others injured

The accident occurred at the Lalsinghmura bridge area in Sepahijala district.
A woman died after being hit by a speeding bike while attempting to cross the road in Tripura. Two others were also injured in the accident.
The accident occurred at the Lalsinghmura bridge area in Sepahijala district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Tulsi Nomo. The other two injured in the collision Noni Ranjan Debbarma and Bikash Debnath, were riding the bike involved in the accident.
Rescue efforts were promptly initiated, with firefighters swiftly transporting all three victims to a nearby hospital. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries upon arrival at the hospital.
Noni Ranjan Debbarma and Bikash Debnath are currently undergoing treatment at the Agartala Government Medical College located in the G B Pant Hospital campus in Agartala. The duo are said to be in critical condition.
In response to the incident, police have registered a case and an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident is underway.
