Pradyot FIR Against Man Who Beats Dog to Death: The disturbing video has sparked widespread outrage across social media platforms.

Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, the Royal Scion and founder of the Tipra Motha Party has filed an FIR against Bador Jamatia for brutally killing a dog and sharing the video on social media.

The complaint, lodged at West Agartala Police Station, states that the incident occurred on 11th March 2025 in Wak Shimalung Para, Teliamura, Khowai district.

According to Pradyot, Bador Jamatia was seen in the viral video repeatedly beating a dog until it died. The video was reportedly uploaded by a known associate, Buchuk Jamatia, from the same area.

In Pradyot’s FIR Against Man Who Beats Dog to Death: Pradyot cited Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, both of which classify such acts as punishable offenses.

“I request you to register an FIR against Bador Jamatia and take immediate legal action and a criminal have no cast or community. I am willing to cooperate with the investigation and provide any necessary evidence,” Pradyot stated.

The disturbing video has sparked widespread outrage across social media platforms. Netizens and animal rights activists have strongly condemned the incident, demanding swift justice.

Tripura’s Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD) Minister Sudhangshu Das also denounced the gruesome act and directed the Tripura Police to arrest the accused without delay.

The incident has intensified calls for stricter enforcement of animal protection laws in the state.
