Saha reiterated the state government’s commitment to attracting private investments from across India and beyond.

The Tripura government has secured investment commitments worth Rs 3,700 crore from 87 private investors across key sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, and IT. The agreements were finalised at the two-day Destination Tripura Business Conclave, which concluded in Agartala today.

Prominent companies, including Godrej Agrovet Limited, Crane Global Solutions, and GNRC Healthcare, signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in the presence of Chief Minister Manik Saha, State Industries Minister Santana Chakma, and senior government officials.

Addressing the media, Saha reiterated the state government’s commitment to attracting private investments from across India and beyond. He highlighted Tripura’s peaceful and investment-friendly environment, which has been instrumental in drawing corporate interest.

To facilitate industrial growth, the government has implemented a single-window clearance system, ensuring that businesses receive No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and other approvals within 30 days. Additionally, industries setting up in Tripura will benefit from power and other subsidies.

Investors praised Tripura’s business-friendly policies, stating that the state presents unique growth opportunities due to its rapid economic progress.

During the conclave, Saha launched the Incentive Calculator portal and the Land Bank System, a digital initiative to help businesses identify suitable locations for industrial units.

The state government expects these investments to boost employment and accelerate economic growth, reinforcing Tripura’s position as an emerging investment hub.
