Tragic! Three Dead in Sonapur Road Accident as Pick-Up Van Collides with Parked Truck

Three Dead in Sonapur Road Accident: All three were seated in the front compartment of the van when the collision occurred.

As many as three people, including a minor lost their lives in a tragic accident at Sonapur in the outskirts of Guwahati early Thursday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sariful Islam, Shakil Ahmed, and Mushtaq Ahmed.

The victims were travelling in an pick-up van when it rammed into a parked truck en route to Guwahati from Morigaon.

All three were seated in the front compartment of the van when the collision occurred. Upon official arrival at the scene, the bodies were still trapped inside the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses said that the auto-van was at fault, as the truck was properly parked within the demarcated area. Initial reports indicate that the van was travelling at high speed before crashing into the truck.
