Tragic: IRBn Sub Inspector and 5-Year-Old killed in Train-Car Collision in Arunachal Pradesh

In a tragic accident, a 55-year-old man and a 5-year-old minor were killed after their car was hit by a train while crossing the tracks in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Siang

In a tragic accident, a 55-year-old man and a 5-year-old minor were killed after their car was hit by a train while crossing the tracks in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Siang district.

The incident occurred at Pale near Dimow around 3:50 pm on Friday.

The deceased man has been identified as Rigo Riba, a sub-inspector of the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) posted in Pasighat , was traveling with the minor when their vehicle was hit by the Murkongselek-Tezpur special train, which was heading towards Dekargaon in Assam’s Tezpur.

As per inputs, Riba died on the spot, while the child was rushed to a hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam, but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) is investigating the accident.
