Sikkim: Several passengers injured in bus accident in Gangtok

According to inputs around 15 to 17 passengers were on board the bus. The injured were immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital.

Several persons were injured in a bus accident this afternoon at 7th Mile, near Ranipool in Gangtok. Reportedly, a Daily service Apsara Bus bearing no WB 73 C 0417 en route to Siliguri skid off the road and toppled over near a Gas store in Gangtok.

According to inputs around 15 to 17 passengers were on board the bus. The injured were immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital.

As per the report, two passengers are in serious condition and are currently admitted to Manipal Hospital. Following the mishap, the bus driver fled from the spot.
