Sikkim: 2 killed, several injured as tanker rams into Mela ground in Ranipool

The injured were immediately taken to the Manipal Hospital for medical treatment.
At least two people were killed and nine others injured after a milk tanker went out of control and rammed inside a public ground where a Mela was going on.
The incident was reported at around 8 pm today from Gangtok’s Ranipool.

The reason behind the accident is yet to be determined.
An investigation into the case is underway.
On January 13, at least three people were killed and one suffered injuries in a road accident when the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Sikkim’s Namchi. The incident took place in Yangang area in the district.
