Serial killer on the prowl? Another Assam couple killed in their sleep

In a sensational incident, a couple was killed by unidentified miscreants in their sleep in Assam’s Dhubri district.
The incident has been reported from Kurshakti area of Raniganj in Dhubri late Saturday night.
The deceased have been identifed as–Shahjahal Hussain and his wife Narjina Begum.
The incident came to light after their (victim’s) daughter, who stays in Guwahati, called their neighbours and asked them to break down the gate of their house to check on her parents, who were not answering her phone calls for long time, said a local.
After neighburs entered their house by breaking the gate, they found Shahjahal and Narjina lying in a pool of blood, dead.
On recieveing information about the incident, a team of Dhubri Police rushed to the house.
Police are investigating the case from several angles and a hunt has been launched to nab those behind the killing.
Locals said that earlier also similar case has been reported from the area in which a couple was killed while they were sleeping, however, no arrests have been made in connection with the case until now.
