Post-mortem Report Reveals Namrata Borah Died Because of… and a Piece of Glass Was Found in Her Head

What remains unanswered is, if the piece of broken glass is from the car or if there is more to her death than meets the eye.

The mysterious death of 26-year-old Namrata Borah has taken an unexpected twist after her post-mortem report revealed a shocking detail, a piece of broken glass lodged inside her head.

The report said that she died due to a severe head injury, but what remains unanswered is, if the piece of broken glass is from the car or if there is more to her death than meets the eye.

Namrata Borah, a resident of Dhodang village in Assam’s Golaghat district and a tenant in Guwahati’s Rukminigaon, had reportedly left her rented room at 1:30 AM on June 3 without informing her family or roommates.

Strangely, she also left behind her mobile phone, something her father described as completely out of character and possibly a sign of coercion.

She was accompanied by four others, including Anayatul Wadud, AIUDF youth wing leader and son of the Bilasipara MLA Hafiz Bashir Ahmed. He was allegedly driving the vehicle that crashed near Nongpoh around 5:30 AM. The others in the car were Mriganka Boruah, Pragya Dihingia, and Gayatri Borah.

Namrata Borah was rushed to the hospital by Mriganka and Pragya, where she was declared dead on arrival but no one informed the police.

It was only after hospital staff alerted law enforcement that the authorities were brought in. Making matters worse, Anayatul and Gayatri allegedly fled the scene, with Anayatul later trying to falsely identify someone else as the driver.

What was initially reported as a tragic road accident is now under serious scrutiny after Namrata’s father, Ramen Kumar Borah, filed a detailed FIR at Dispur Police Station. Calling it an “unusual and possibly pre-planned” incident, he has demanded a thorough investigation into what may be far more than a mere accident.
