In a massive development push in poll-bound Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated and laid the base for projects of Rs 4800 crore at the Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal.

Addressing a mega rally Prime Minister Modi focussed solely on the development mantra even as he indirectly slighted the Congress not even bothering to target it once indicating that the opposition is no factor for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the ensuing Assembly polls in the state.

He criticised the approach of the previous governments for leaving Manipur to its fate and alienating its people.
