NSCN (K-YA), ULFA-I jointly attacks army camp in Arunachal’s Pangsau

It may be mentioned here that the Pangsau Pass area is one of the remotest areas in Arunachal, located close to the Indo-Myanmar border.

Heavy firing is underway between militant outfits and the Army along the Indo-Myanmar border in the Pangsau pass area in Arunachal Pradesh since 4 am today.

As per the latest inputs, The NSCN as well as the ULFA-Independent, have made a joint attack on a newly set up army camp in the Pangsau pass area. The army has reportedly retaliated with counter-attacks.

One JCO has been injured in the joint attack by a 20-member combined group of ULFA and NSCN (K-YA). Apart from automatic rifles, lethods, and mortars used by UGs during the attack.

The big development has been confirmed to Northeast Live by SP Changlang district Mihin Gambo.

And not just this, another attack in the Shermator district of Nagaland has been reported. More inputs claim that the 19th and 14th Battalion of Assam Rifles are currently in Nagaland.

It may be mentioned here that the Pangsau Pass area is one of the remotest areas in Arunachal, located close to the Indo-Myanmar border.
