The meeting between a 10-member delegation of the NSCN-IM led by the group’s general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah and Government of India representatives lasted for almost 3 hours.

According to top sources, during the marathon meet the NSCN-IM reiterated its demand for a separate flag and constitution.

The NSCN-leadership had spent the last two months at the Camp Hebron and was involved in a series of deliberations with the Naga Civil society groups.
