In a big setback to the NPP in Arunachal Pradesh, party MLA and former Home Minister Tanga Byaling joined the Congress along with his supporters today including former MLA Y Matey.
Arunachal congress president Takam Sanjoy welcomed the leaders to the party. It may be mentioned that the number of Congress MLAs in the state has gone up to 5.

The number of Congress MLAs were reduced to 4 after Tali MLA Er. Markio Tado joined BJP.
