The death toll of Nipah Virus has gone up to 17, as another 25-year-old man died in Calicut. As the spread of Nipah virus continues to kill in Kerala’s Kozhikode
The death toll of Nipah Virus has gone up to 17, as another 25-year-old man died in Calicut.
As the spread of Nipah virus continues to kill in Kerala’s Kozhikode and Malappuram, the Delhi Government has warned citizens to be careful while consuming fruits especially the consumption of ‘raw date palm sap’.
The virus is not widespread as of now and is limited to only two districts in Kerala. It is feared that the virus will be spreading further towards Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka Currently, there is no specific drug or vaccine to treat the affected animals or fruits.
