Did Neha Kakkar’s Melbourne Show Start Late Because the Singer Arrived Late Or… Singer Exposes Truth

First Published: 28th March, 2025 19:03 IST

Neha clarified that the delay was not her fault but a result of the organisers’ negligence.

Neha Kakkar has broken her silence on the controversy surrounding her delayed Melbourne concert, addressing accusations that she arrived three hours late. The singer took to social media to reveal shocking details about the organisers’ misconduct, explaining how her band was mistreated and how she performed without receiving any payment.

Neha clarified that the delay was not her fault but a result of the organisers’ negligence. She stated, “They said I was late, but did anyone ask what happened to me and my band? When I spoke on stage, I didn’t even share the truth because I didn’t want anyone to be harmed. But now that my name is being dragged into this, I have to speak up.”

The singer exposed how the organisers abandoned her and her team without food, accommodation, or even drinking water. It was her husband, Rohanpreet Singh, and his team who stepped in to provide meals for her crew. Despite these difficulties, Neha and her band still went ahead with the performance, knowing that fans had been waiting for hours.

Neha also revealed that technical issues caused further delays. The sound vendor refused to set up the equipment because the organisers had not paid them. The organisers stopped answering calls from her manager, leaving Neha unsure whether the concert would even take place.

Expressing gratitude, Neha thanked everyone who supported her during the ordeal. “I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to understand my situation and spoke up for me,” she said.

Backing her, Rohanpreet Singh praised her dedication, writing on social media “Huge respect to my wife and her band, who performed despite so many difficulties and chaos.”

Neha Kakkar’s resilience and commitment to her fans shone through as she ensured the show went on, despite facing extreme challenges.
