Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother arrested in forgery case

Allegations surfaced in December that Ayazuddin had submitted a forged letter from the DM Court regarding a farming land dispute with his opponent, Javed Iqbal.

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s elder brother Ayazuddin has been arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of forgery and taken into custody by the Budhana police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

According to sources, allegations surfaced in December that Ayazuddin had submitted a forged copy of an order letter from the District Magistrate court to the consolidation department’s office, along with an application regarding a farming land dispute with his opponent, Javed Iqbal.

However, later it was discovered that this order letter was forged. Ayazuddin and Javed were charged with violating sections 420, 467, 468, and 471 of the Indian Penal Code in March 2024, following a report from the District Magistrate.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Ayazuddin Siddiqui has been entangled in controversy before also. In 2018, he faced legal prosecution for reportedly sharing an offensive image on a social media platform that offended religious sensibilities.

While, the Bollywood actor Nawaz recently made headlines after his ex-wife Aaliya Anand Pandey made numerous serious claims against him, ranging from assaulting and depriving her of food to imprisoning her at home. The situation deteriorated, and Siddiqui ended up writing a lengthy statement on social media, emphasizing his side of the event. For those who are unaware, the two will officially separate in March 2023.

However, soon after, Aaliya declared her intention to withdraw the divorce notice and expressed her desire to reunite with Nawazuddin.
