Nagaland: Minister Tongpang Ozukum assures proper road connectivity for Shena Old village

Nagaland‘s Minister of Mechanical and Housing, Tongpang Ozukum, has assured of looking into the issue of poor road connectivity at Shena Old Village and its surrounding villages in Zunheboto District.

The Minister has also assured of providing all the required machinery and help for the road construction.

Addressing the Academic Session of the All Sumi Students Union 50th General Conference, Minister Tongpang Ozukum assured that he will take up the issue of road connectivity in the entire Shena Old village and its surrounding villages, connecting Atoizu Sub Division. Meanwhile, he also urged students to get a true education and strive for the best.

During the conference, officials of the Sumi Literature Board conducted a special Sumi language learning session for the delegates. The evening session was graced by Dr. Hotokhu Chishi, retired director of Health and Family Welfare, where he educated the masses on the origins of the Sumi Naga ancestors.
