Temsuyanger Longkumer, an artist from Merangkong village in Nagaland’s Mokokchung district, is making waves at the London Art Fair 2025. Represented by Oliver Projects, Longkumer’s collection of sculptures and prints has garnered international attention, with features in prestigious publications like Forbes and Prestige Online. The fair runs from January 21 to 26.

Longkumer’s art explores humanity’s relationship with nature, offering an immersive experience that bridges personal narratives with universal themes. Reflecting on his roots in Nagaland and the challenges faced by emerging artists, he expressed hope that his journey would inspire young talents from the region to pursue their creative aspirations.

“The London Art Fair is an incredible platform to share my vision,” said Longkumer, highlighting the recognition his work has received. His inclusion in Forbes’ feature, “7 Artists Exploring Humanity’s Interaction with Nature at London Art Fair,” underscores his art’s universal resonance.

Through his achievements, Longkumer aims to motivate artists from Nagaland and beyond. “By sharing my experiences, I hope to empower the next generation of artists to dream big and seize every opportunity to share their voice with the world,” he said.

Longkumer’s success reflects the growing visibility of Asian artists in the global art scene and marks a significant milestone for Nagaland’s creative community.
