Mob Storms Police Station in Arunachal, Drags Youth Accused of Raping Around 20 Girl Students Out, Lynches Him

As per inputs, the youth was accused of raping at least 20 students and molesting over 3 others aged between 6-8 years from Mount Carmel School, Roing.

In a shocking turn of events, a mob stormed the Roing police station in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Dibang Valley district on Thursday and lynched a man accused of raping and molesting several students of a school.

The incident took place in broad daylight, right inside the police station.

As per inputs, the youth was accused of raping at least 20 students and molesting over 3 others aged between 6-8 years from Mount Carmel School, Roing.

He had been repeatedly entering the school hostel during late evening hours, exploiting lapses in security to molest and rape the minor girls.

The accused was hiding initially.

After the abuse came to light when some of the girls complained of abdominal pain and were taken to hospital, where medical examinations revealed signs of sexual assault, police launched an investigation and arrested him.

As the horrifying details emerged, public outrage grew. A large mob gathered outside the police station, eventually forcing their way in.

The accused was dragged out of custody and lynched on the spot.
