Mizoram: Sairang-Bairabi Rail Line to be Inaugurated Soon, CM Lalduhoma Reviews Railway Projects with Top Railway Officials

During the discussion, A.K. Chaudhary informed the Chief Minister that he had traveled by train up to Sairang during his current visit.

Chief Minister Lalduhoma today met with A.K. Chaudhary, General Manager (Construction) of the North Eastern Railway, to review the progress of key railway projects in Mizoram. The meeting focused on the development of Bairabi railway station, the approach road to Mualkhang station, and the ongoing construction at Sairang station.

During the discussion, A.K. Chaudhary informed the Chief Minister that he had traveled by train up to Sairang during his current visit. He assured that the construction work is progressing steadily. According to an official release, Chaudhary mentioned that the Commission of Railway Safety will carry out an inspection in early June. He also stated that the railway line is likely to be inaugurated after June 17.

Commissioner and Secretary to the Chief Minister, Vanlaldina Fanai, accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting. Senior officials from the North Eastern Railways also attended the review session.
