Missing Couple Found Dead with Hands and Feet Tied in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

In a disturbing incident, a couple who had gone missing after a violent attack on their home by unidentified miscreants has been found dead in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district today.

The victims have been identified as Jurlo Munda and his wife Panchami Munda.

As per inputs, the couple had been untraceable since last night after unidentified miscreants stormed their home. During the attack, the couple’s 3 children were also injured and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The bodies were discovered with their hands and feet tied, around 2 kilometres away from their residence in the Nambor River Tea Estate this evening.

The motive behind the attack is still not known. Police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter, and search operations are ongoing to trace those responsible.
