As part of recce operations conducted on Sunday, the aerial search team was able to identify Camp 1 and Camp 2 tents in which the missing mountaineers might have been sheltering.

Earlier this week, a foot-based search and rescue operation was carried out jointly by the East Kameng district administration and the Army to trace the missing duo, however, it was called off due to excessive rain and inclement weather.
The mountaineer duo went missing after setting out on an official expedition in Arunachal’s East Kameng district between August 22 and August 24.
