  3. Wards’s Lake Promenade

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that the state government is creating more than 1,200 parking spaces in Shillong as part of the Parking Infrastructure Development Project under Shillong Smart City Pvt Ltd.

At a total project cost of Rs. 90 crore, CM Sangma today laid the foundation stones for three parking projects that can accommodate 465 parking places.

The oldest traditional indigenous market-Iewduh Market will be redesigned and transformed at an estimated budget of Rs 15 crore.

The goal of the market’s makeover is to create a more lively, useful, and accessible area that benefits local vendors, consumers, and visitors alike, said CM Sangma.
