Manipur: Football Coach Arrested For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting 11 Juvenile Students

The matter came to light during a parents' meet when the young players informed their guardians about the abuse.

A shocking incident has emerged from Imphal East, Manipur, where a coach and proprietor of a football academy has been arrested by the police for allegedly sexually assaulting 11 juvenile students residing at the academy’s boarding facility in Heingang Assembly Constituency.

The matter came to light during a parents’ meet when the young players informed their guardians about the abuse.

Following the revelations, the guardians contacted the police, leading to a formal case being registered at Heingang Police Station.

The guardians have strongly demanded the immediate cancellation of the football academy’s licence and urged the concerned authorities to ensure that justice is served in accordance with the law.
