A 40-year-old woman was killed in a massive landslide which took place on Tuesday at Sichey in Gangtok. As per reports, the woman was in her building when the landslide
A 40-year-old woman was killed in a massive landslide which took place on Tuesday at Sichey in Gangtok.
As per reports, the woman was in her building when the landslide hit the structure.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s 70-year-old mother and a woman residing in the same building sustained minor injuries.
Unfortunately the deceased was in the kitchen preparing food with her mother when the landslide hit the building.
It took almost an hour for the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) rescue team to recover the body.
