Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal get death threat on social media, man arrested

The actors were getting threats on Instagram and the accused was also stalking Katrina Kaif and threatening her.

A man has been reportedly arrested for allegedly giving death threat to actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal through social media.

Moreover, a case has been registered at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station. The man, identified as Manvinder Singh is from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow and was struggling to get work in films and TV series in Mumbai.

It has been learned that the accused is a fan of actor Katrina Kaif.

According to the police, the actors were getting threats on Instagram and the accused was also stalking Katrina Kaif and threatening her.

Based on the complaint, the Santacruz police here have registered an FIR against the man under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II, criminal intimidation, and 354-D, stalking.

Meanwhile, the police have also registered a case under the IT Act.

Katrina and Vicky, who tied the knot in Rajasthan on December 9, have not commented anything about the matter in the public domain yet.

Prior to Vicky and Katrina, in June, actor Swara Bhasker received a death threat through a letter. It is to be mentioned here that, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also received a death threat letter a month ago.
