Moyong succeed Biyuram Wahge as the Arunachal BJP president. Kaling Moyong was Pasighat East MLA from 2014-2024.
Kaling Moyong has been elected as the new Arunachal BJP President. He was elected to the office unopposed. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal who oversaw the election process, declared the name of Moyong as the next Arunachal BJP president today in BJP headquarters in Itanagar.
Sarbananda Sonowal, expressed confidence in Kaling Moyong’s leadership, higlighting its potential to enhance the party’s organisational strength and influence in the region. Chief Minister Pema Khandu also congratulated Moyong on his unanimous selection, underscoring the significance of strong grassroots leadership for the party’s continued success in Arunachal Pradesh.
Moyong succeeds Biyuram Wahge as the Arunachal BJP president. Kaling Moyong was Pasighat East MLA from 2014-24. He lost the 2024 elections to Tapi Darang of NPP.
Kaling Moyong’s election as the BJP state president is expected to bolster the party’s presence. His leadership is seen as a strategic step towards solidifying the BJP’s foothold in the state and addressing regional aspirations effectively.
