A week after the visit of Prime Minister Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda will be on a 2-day visit to Tripura to review the organizational issues, party’s preparation and rejuvenate party rank and file for the assembly elections next year.
Nadda will address the party workers on organizational issues on January 11 to boost the morale of the party cadres ahead of the 2023 assembly polls.
As per reports, the BJP chief will also hold close-door meetings with the ministers, leaders, MLAs, MPs among others to take stock of the present political situation in order to set a roadmap for the next assembly elections. In addition to that he will also hold meetings with leaders of schedule tribes.
Nadda’s visit assumes significance amid growing activity of the Trinamool Congress in the State. The visit also comes after BJP’s thumping victory in the recently held civic polls. He will also meet all 329 party leaders who won during the civic body polls.
On January 4th Prime Minister Narendra Modi inagurated the new airport terminal at Agartala. During his visit he also launched the mission100 Vidyajyoti Schools in the state and Tripura Gram Samriddhi Yojana.
