Indigenous people of Sikkim will lose their rights and privileges if the ILP system is not implemented in the Himalayan state: Bhaichung
Hamro Sikkim Party president Bhaichung Bhutia has escalated the attack on Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang terming him as the ‘weakest Chief Minister in Sikkim’s history.’
Bhutia further slammed the Sikkim Chief Minister for his alleged ‘backdoor entry’ to become the Chief Minister.
Bhutia also flayed Golay’s role in apprising Home Minister Amit Shah about the concerns of the people. Bhutia feels that the people of Sikkim are under threat under the Chief Ministership of PS Tamang.
The footballer-turned-politician also alleged government delay in implementing the Inner Line Permit system in Sikkim. Bhaichung Bhutia said that the absence of ILP has led to a change in the demography of the Himalayan state. The HSP president fears that the indigenous people will start losing their rights and privileges in absence of ILP.
