Arunachal Govt Increases Min Wages: Workers serving in difficult areas will receive an extra Rs. 500/m as a special allowance.
In a major move to support contingent employees, casual workers, and labourers, the Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a significant increase in their minimum wages. Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the development on his official X handle, highlighting the government’s commitment to ensuring better financial security and recognition for these workers.
The revised wages will come into effect from April 1, benefiting employees across various categories. Additionally, workers serving in difficult areas will receive an extra Rs. 500 per month as a special allowance. The decision aims to improve livelihoods and uphold the dignity of those who contribute tirelessly to the development of the state.
Taking on X Pema Khandu wrote, “This decision reflects our government’s commitment to fairness, dignity, and improved livelihoods for all workers. A well-deserved enhancement for those who play a vital role in building our state!”
