Ananya Panday, Kartik Aryan to amp up the glam quotient at Femina Miss India Grand Finale in Manipur

Manipur is all set to host a star-studded grand finale of the 59th Femina Miss India scheduled to be held on April 15 with celebrities from B-town–star choreographer Terence Lewis, Neha Dhupia, Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan attending the mega beauty pageant event.
The glamourous evening will witness performances by the entertainment industry’s biggest names Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan.
While, the contestants will be judged by a panel consisting of Femina Miss India Universe 2002 & Mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, star choreographer Terence Lewis and ace designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway in full swing in Manipur to host the grand finale of the 59th Femina Miss India on April 15 at Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal.
At least 30 state winners will contest for the coveted title. The pageant’s winner will represent India in the Miss World competition.
The state winners will be walking the ramp in gorgeous ensembles designed by the iconic designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura, and a special showcase by Manipuri designer Robert Naorem, featuring traditional costumes.
This special segment will aim to promote the textile, art and culture of the state.
The contestants landed in Imphal on April 7, and they are currently touring the city and seeing several Manipur heritage sites.
Speaking to Northeast Live in this regard, the director of the Manipur tourism department W. Ibohal said that the state will benefit from hosting such mega-events.
Besides boosting tourism, the rich cultural heritage of the state will be promoted, he said.
It may be mentioned here that this is the first time the Femina Miss India Grand Finale will be held in the Northeast region.
Earlier this week, while reviewing the preparedness of the mega event, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said that the event will be another opportunity to showcase the warm hospitality of the people of Manipur and the state’s potential to host more such national events in the state.
The Times Group has entered into a first-ever partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Manipur, to host the grand finale of Femina Miss India 2023 in the northeastern state.
Earlier, speaking on the partnership, CM Singh said that the event will be held in Manipur with the purpose to celebrate the diverse and inclusive Indian culture.
The Chief Minister also exuded confidence that the coming of India’s best talents to the state will help inspire and empower the local youths besides showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Manipur.
