Seldon Lycurgus is the 4th child of Musk & Zilis, joining their twins Strider and Azure, born in 2021, and their daughter Arcadia, in 2024.
Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has just welcomed his 14th child, Seldon Lycurgus, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The announcement has drawn widespread attention. It is again making news now because of the child’s India connection.
Shivon Zilis, originally from Ontario, Canada, has a diverse heritage. Her mother is of Punjabi descent, while her father is Caucasian Canadian. In a 2015 interview with USA Today, she reflected on her mixed-race background, stating, “I pretty much turned out white, but I got the big eyes from the Punjabi side.”
Zilis’ Wikipedia entry highlights her Punjabi roots and after Musk acknowledged that he is the father of Zilis’ child, interest in Zilis’ background has surged. People are checking her origins in her Wiki entry.
Despite maintaining a relatively private life, Zilis has been a prominent figure in the tech world. She has been featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for her contributions to venture capital and has worked with major companies such as IBM and Bloomberg Beta. Her expertise in artificial intelligence led her to Neuralink, where she plays a key role in the company’s neuroscience innovations.
Seldon Lycurgus is the fourth child of Musk and Zilis, joining their twins Strider and Azure, born in 2021, and their daughter Arcadia, born in 2024. The Tesla CEO now has at least 14 children, and his rapidly growing family often makes headlines.
The news of his latest child has come within months of news that Musk fathered his 13th child with 26-year-old conservative influencer Ashley St Clair. Court documents have referred to the child as “RSC,” adding another layer of intrigue to Musk’s expanding lineage.
Musk also shares five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, including twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Their firstborn, Nevada Alexander Musk, tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old. Additionally, he has three children with musician Grimes—sons X and Techno Mechanicus, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl.
