Elon Musk Welcomes 14th Child Amid Paternity Controversy

The announcement was made on social media by Zilis, who described their son as "built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold."
Tech mogul Elon Musk has welcomed his 14th child, a baby boy named Seldon Lycurgus, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The announcement was made on social media by Zilis, who described their son as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold.” Musk responded to her post with a heart emoji, marking the joyous occasion.
Seldon is Musk’s fourth child with Zilis, with whom he previously had twins Strider Sekhar Sirius and Azure Astra Alice in 2021, followed by Arcadia in 2024. The couple decided to publicly share the news in celebration of Arcadia’s birthday.
The birth of Musk’s latest child comes just weeks after social media influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed that Musk fathered her child. In a post on X on February 14, St. Clair revealed that she had given birth five months ago and identified Musk as the father. She stated that she had initially chosen to keep the matter private for the safety of their child but decided to speak out after learning that tabloid media was planning to report on it regardless.
St. Clair has since filed a paternity petition, seeking legal recognition of Musk as the father. The tech billionaire has yet to respond publicly to these claims.
Musk’s journey as a father began with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson. The couple had six children together. Their firstborn, Nevada, tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Their other children include twins Griffin and Vivian, along with triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. In 2022, Vivian legally changed her name and gender, cutting ties with Musk.
In 2020, Musk and musician Grimes welcomed their first child, X Æ A-Xii. The couple later had two more children via surrogacy Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus.
The Musk Family Tree
Elon Musk was born to Errol Musk, a South African engineer, and Maye Musk, a Canadian-born model and dietitian. While Maye has remained a strong influence in his life, Musk’s relationship with his father has been strained for years.
Elon Musk also has two siblings: Kimbal Musk, an entrepreneur and restaurateur, and Tosca Musk, a filmmaker and founder of the streaming platform Passionflix.
