DoNER Minister Scindia in Manipur, Reviews Development Projects, Joins Governor in Meeting on Sports

During his visit, Scindia attended a High-Level Task Force Meeting on Sports, chaired by Governor Ajay Bhalla.

Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya Scindia, arrived in Imphal, Manipur, on Thursday to review major development schemes under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER).

During his visit, Scindia attended a High-Level Task Force Meeting on Sports, chaired by Governor Ajay Bhalla. The meeting aims to strengthen sports infrastructure and promote young talent across the state.

Senior officials from the central and state governments were present at the meeting.

Speaking to reporters at Imphal Airport, Scindia said his visit is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to advance Manipur’s development. He added that he is holding multiple meetings with the Governor to take forward this vision.

Taking to X, Scindia wrote, “Delighted to be in Imphal, Manipur today for Review Meeting on key development schemes and to participate in a High-Level Task Force Meeting on Sports. We remain committed in supporting the State’s journey towards peace, development & youth empowerment.”
