Doctor Attacked by Mob Over Alleged Treatment Delay in Assam Hospital

On-duty doctor Amit Sinha was brutally assaulted by a group of 10-15 individuals at Hailakandi District Civil Hospital, Assam, on September 17.
In a shocking incident at Hailakandi District Civil Hospital, Assam, on September 17, a mob attacked an on-duty doctor, Amit Sinha, alleging delay in treatment for an accident victim. The violent assault, carried out by a group of 10-15 individuals, was caught on CCTV camera.
The situation escalated quickly when the group confronted Dr. Sinha, claiming that his failure to attend to the injured person in time led to further complications. A case have been registerd and investigation is underway to apprehend those responsible.
