CM Conrad Sangma Stops to Help Assam Tourists Injured in Meghalaya’s Mawkdok Accident

A doctor who was traveling with the chief minister quickly examined the injured victims and administered first aid.
In a noble gesture, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh stopped midway to Shillong to help two tourists from Assam who met with an accident at Mawdok.
As per inputs, both the tourists were returning from Sohra when the driver apparently lost control and the car turned turtle. The tourists reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Upon noticing the distressed situation, the chief minister’s convoy stopped, and both Sangma and Lyngdoh took charge of the situation.
CM Conrad Sangma and Cabinet Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh were coming back from Sohra after the cabinet retreat.
