B.Sc Nursing Student from Meghalaya Found Dead in RIMS Imphal Hostel

A team of Lamphel Police reached the scene and took the body for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
A B.Sc. Nursing student from Meghalaya’s Tura district, West Garo Hills, died by suspected suicide this morning at her hostel in the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.
The incident came to light around 8:25 am when she was found hanging inside an unused section of Hostel No. 2. She had not responded during the 7:30 am roll call, raising concerns among fellow students.
A team of Lamphel Police reached the scene and took the body for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
