In a shocking incident a teacher was caught using drugs on school premises at Lengeribari Primary School in Assam’s Lahorighat, Morigaon district. The offender, identified as Hazrat Ali, was found taking drugs inside the school’s midday meal kitchen a space meant for preparing food for students.

The school principal reported that he had previously alerted the local education authorities in Lahorighat about the teacher’s behavior, yet no action was taken to address the situation. This negligence has raised concerns among parents and staff regarding the school’s environment and the influence on young students.
The incident has sparked outrage as it poses a serious threat to the safety and integrity of the school.
