The weapons were reportedly buried by the Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) before their surrender last year.
In a significant operation, the Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Army and Arunachal Police, successfully recovered a massive cache of weapons near MS 27 along the Miao-Vijaynagar axis in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh.
This discovery, which includes 10 MQ Type 81 Assault Rifles, was made hidden deep within the region’s dense forest, underscoring the ongoing battle against insurgent groups in the area.
This operation stands out as one of the largest recoveries in South Arunachal in recent history. The weapons were reportedly buried by the Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) before their surrender last year.
Security forces had been actively tracking these weapons, which insurgent groups have sought for over six months.
