It’s a proud moment for Assam as Lakhimpur girl Dipti Chetry won the Tourism Ambassador Asia Pacific pageant this year in Malaysia.

It’s a proud moment for Assam as Lakhimpur girl Dipti Chetry won the Tourism Ambassador Asia Pacific pageant this year in Malaysia.

Dipti, who is an employee in Northeast Frontier Railways, recently joined the Tourism Ambassador Universe pageant after claiming the title at the Tourism Ambassador Asia Pacific title.

Dipti was selected by the company Gamusa Mega Entertainment Private Limited to represent India in the international pageant. Dipti got her training for the pageant under renowned fashion choreographer Abhlekh Kalita.

Dipti has dreams of opening a new platform for newcomers in the fashion industry and helping them form careers. She also wants to help other women who can be an inspiration and can raise voices for social causes.
