Speaking to Northeast Live during the inauguration of the Herachandra Boys Hostel at Bal Vidya Mandir in the Palace Compound, Imphal East, Sanajaoba highlighted the collective yearning for peace among residents from both the hills and the valley.

“I request Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla to do all his maximum so that peace and normalcy could return as soon as possible in the state,” he said.

His appeal comes just three days before the crisis completes two years, underscoring the urgency of action.

The event was attended by various MLAs and RSS leaders, adding weight to the call for stability.

Sanajaoba’s plea reflects a growing demand for resolution and healing in Manipur.
